Synopsis

ULTIMTE EXTINCTION PART 5 The Triskelion is under attack by the clones of Heather Douglas, a group of S.H.I.E.L.D. employees gunned down as they are stormed. As the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. struggle against the Douglas clones, Captain America springs to action, jumping out of a window to save the people in distress. With his shield, Cap takes out many of the clones, as Nick Fury prepares his team to take on Gah Lak Tus. Mahr Vehl, Sam Wilson, and the X-Men join the fight, starting to feel the change in gravity as Gah Lak Tus enters their atmosphere.  Charles Xavier and Jean Grey prepare the updated Cerebro, ready to make the unethical decision to use the minds of everyone on Earth to upset the impending galactic threat. As Xavier prepares to use use the human race as a weapon, he asks Fury if Reed's machine is ready. Reed needs more time to get the teleporter operational but he is also dealing with Sue, who has joined a secretive Reed.   Xavier makes contact with the human race, bringing their minds together as a weapon against Gah Lak Tus. Xavier and Jean warn the humans of the death that is coming to get them, but with their thoughts, their dreams and love they can attempt to scare it away. Xavier does exactly what he says, making Gah Lak Tus frantic, using more energy than it wants. Reed readies the machine as S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to handle the clones. Reed and Sue enter a helicopter as Reed explains the plan. He is going to fire a nuclear missile into a new universe during its Big Bang event, creating enough destructive energy to attack Gah Lak Tus. The only problem is, the explosion would destroy the new galaxy.   Reed activates the gate, firing the missile into the open portal. The helicopter flies away as Reed and Sue do not hear the Big Bang explosion. A beam of energy releases from the gate, firing into the sky, damaging the belt of Gah Lak Tus in orbit around the Earth. The beam only destroys 20% of Gah Lak Tus, making Fury and Stark wonder if it was enough.   During the debriefing, Fury tells the others that they scared Gah Lak Tus out of the solar system because of the amount of energy it would take to everyone on Earth. A healing Mahr Vehl wonders if they are just going to let Gah Lak Tus go like that, giving it the chance to destroy other civilizations. Fury assures Mahr Vehl that they are prepping Vision with everything that happened plus Reed's gun design. After everything that happened, Nick Fury is feeling confident that Humans can handle anything the universe throws at them.
